Midland Air Service Experts was thrilled to volunteer with the Midlands Ride for Kids in April. This is the second year that Midland Air has volunteered for this wonderful event that gives all the proceeds to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the top nonprofit supporting research into childhood brain tumors. The donations fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial assistance for families.
Midland Air Service Experts donated $1000 to this great cause and the nationwide event has collected over $500,000. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been volunteering for the event since 2014 and her father’s motorcycle group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids annually.
“My dad’s motorcycle club gets involved every year because they can have a blast and ride motorcycles, all for an amazing cause.” Check out Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The sweet motorcycle club may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts doesn’t have as many motorcycle riders. “We just do it to help the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air looks forward to being involved in their community and participating in wonderful events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To read more about how you can get involved and help the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, check out their site.
